he' lemape! i almost forgot to post this stupid thing. i recieved a flyer the other day from suppossedly chad smith , the chief of the cherokee nation inviting lenapes to attend a conference being held on yuma street in north west, wash d.c. i guess its a question free for all. anyways we all know that the oklahoma band of delawares were given land to settle upon when we were once being removed. or should i say that we were removed several times, trail of tears times 7!cherokees ) tsalagis)thought that they had it bad huh?! well when we became federall y recognized as our own nation again by the stupid dept. of the interior , the cherokee nation never honored it and still recieves monies that are suppossed to be allotted to the lenapes.even when we were underneath the tsalagis, they nevr gave us monies that were due to us, and as a result we are hgurting finacially.. and the wonder why we both chose different sides during the civil war and my great grandfather captain falleaf,kicked the cherokee regiments butts! ha! lenape warriors still proving themselves! anyhow, it was said to me by way of some elders that chad smith would seperate the 2 nations and start giving the delawares what was due when and if he was elected.he said this to lenape elders himself and went back on his word when he finally saw2 how much money his cherokees was going to lose. is it a million or more? i wish that i knew, but he stands to lose alot.the cherokee nation will let anyone register with htem and it is almost a joke, cause the know they stand to only recieve more monies from the federal government. "oh youre a blue eyed blonde hair indian a? must be one of them cherokees!" me and my older brother, te'met'tut, are planning to go down there and protest this tsalagi meeting. i invite all lenape to attend if youre in the local wash d.c area. chad smith is also using a whole lot of this government money to defend the right to keep all of the allotted money for his nation only by getting all of these european lawyers, how do you justify the excess spenditure of monies?why not at least hire some "skin" lawyers to handle this? why get the government involved? we dont care for these clowns anyways! now i know that i should treat all brothers with the same cortesy and respect and i plan to , but at the same when it is our time to speak i will present him with an eagle feather bestowed upon me by my deceased oo'mah ( grandmother) and ask him to answer my questions. it will be like answering questions with your hand on a bible, but worse. i will let the all know what he is doing. time for brothers and sisters to step up and do whats right for the lenape nation.time for warriors to step up against the tsalagis and get this issue resolved in a peacefull way. just asking doesnt seem to work but i think a little on the spot treatment will definately do. i will post this address for the meeting place later again, but i do know it is on january 29th.. and if i do get back here i will post the outcome of the tsalagi leaders' comments while being put on the spot! sorry this is so long
